Our financing program is offered by our partner, Fairstone. As a fraud-prevention measure, RD Furniture reserves the right to refuse in-store or warehouse pickup of any item financed by Fairstone. Learn more about our financing program below.

In-Store

Fairstone offers financing terms ranging from 6 months to 48 months.* Our sales consultant can conclude the transaction with you and provide all the necessary information about how to complete your financing application. Within minutes, you'll receive a decision about whether your application is approved. If your application is approved, an RD Furniture digital card will be issued by Fairstone.

An $35 annual fee will be charged on your first statement and annually on your account opening anniversary date if the balance is a minimum of $1.

We offer three financing options with Fairstone:

1-Fixed monthly payments with a 11.99% interest rate*

• Payment term options: 36 months or 48 months (A minimum amount of financing may be required for 48-months term.)
• Balance can be paid partially or entirely at any moment

2-Interest-free if the purchase is paid in full at the end of the term and all minimum payments are made when due**

• Payment term options: 6 months, 12 months or 18 months (A minimum financed amount may be required for 12 months and 18 months terms.)
• Balance can be paid partially or entirely at any moment
• Minimum payment: 5 % of the balance due
• Note:  Making only the minimum monthly payments on your account will not pay off the purchase in time to avoid interest charges.

3-Fixed monthly payments with a 31.99% interest rate*

• Payment term options: 24 months, 36 months or 48 months (A minimum amount of financing may be required for the 48-months term.)
• Balance can be paid partially or entirely at any moment

NOTE: The plan for which you're ultimately approved depends on your credit worthiness, among other factors.

Online

Once you have selected all your products, you can pay with a financing plan from Fairstone.

*On approved credit. An annual fee of $35, as set out in your Account Agreement, will be charged to your account subject to certain conditions. Financing is provided by Fairstone Financial Inc. and is subject to all the terms and conditions in your Retail Credit Agreement, Disclosure Statement and in the documents provided to you at point of sale (collectively the “Account Agreement”). A reduced interest rate will be charged on the purchase amount. The purchase amount plus interest charges is divided by the term to arrive at equal monthly payments that are due each billing cycle.  Interest is precalculated and included in each monthly payment. Terms will be disclosed to you at the point of sale. Terms will be disclosed to you at the point of sale. If the minimum payment is not made when due or if a balance remains after the promotional period expires, interest will be charged at the annual interest rate as shown in your Account Agreement.

**On approved credit. An annual fee of $35, as set out in your Account Agreement, will be charged to your account subject to certain conditions. Financing is provided by Fairstone Financial Inc. and is subject to all the terms and conditions in your Retail Credit Agreement, Disclosure Statement and the promotional plan disclosure statement (collectively the “Account Agreement”). Interest will accrue on the purchase amount and annual fees from the beginning of the promotional period, and minimum payments of 5% of the balance will be due each billing cycle. However, if you make the required minimum payments and pay the balance in full by the promotional period expiration date, all accrued interest will be waived and not charged on the purchase amount and annual fees. If you do not pay the balance in full by the promotional period expiration date, all accrued interest will be charged at the annual interest rate as shown in your Account Agreement. Making only the minimum monthly payments on your account will not pay off the purchase in time to avoid interest charges. On termination or expiration date of the promotional period (or for purchases that are not part of the promotional period), the annual interest rate shown in your Account Agreement and the terms of the Regular Credit Plan will apply to all outstanding balances. In Need Of Second Chance Credit Services?

We offer an alternative financing service with Creditmeubles, a company that offers second chance credit services. Their mission is to allow customers to buy the furniture or appliances they need and to have access to financing, whether or not they have a good credit record. A positive or negative response regarding the application will be provided within 24 to 48 hours. The request must be made at the store; it is not possible to apply online. 

Do You Still Offer Accord D Financing Program ?

No. Desjardins' in-store financing will gradually phase out. At RD Furniture, our partnership ended on December 31st, 2021. We formed a new partnership with Fairstone in order to maintain flexible and advantageous financing plans for our customers.
