If we learn that we have collected or received personal information from a child under 14 without parental consent verification, we will delete that information.
10 — Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information
Subject to certain exceptions as permitted by law, you have the following rights regarding your personal information that we hold:
a) Your Right of Access
You have the right to access your personal information that we hold and to receive a general account of our use of that personal information. Upon receipt of a written request from you, we will confirm whether we are processing your personal information and, subject to applicable exemptions, provide you with a copy of your personal information. In certain limited circumstances, we may not be able to make all relevant personal information available to you, for example, where that personal information also concerns another individual. We strive to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. It may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or if you have made several requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated. If you request additional copies, we may charge a reasonable fee.
b) Your Right to Rectification
If the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected. You may also provide written comments to be included in your file. If you are entitled to rectification and if we have shared your personal information with others, we will inform them of the rectification as much as possible and if this does not involve a disproportionate effort. If you ask us, where possible and legal, we will also inform you of the identity of the third parties with whom we have shared your personal information so that you can contact them directly. We strive to handle all requests for rectification of personal information promptly. If you have an account with us, you can access and modify most of your personal information directly in your account.
c) Your Right to Control Dissemination
You have the right to control the dissemination of your personal information. As such, you may ask us to de-index (i.e., remove from search results) any hyperlink associated with your name and allowing access to your personal information if the underlying dissemination of your personal information contravenes the law or a court decision, or if it causes severe damage to your reputation or privacy. This also includes your right to re-index (i.e., include in search results) any hyperlink associated with your name when it may prevent the perpetuation of severe damage to your reputation or privacy.
You can contact us for assistance in modifying, updating, or deleting your personal information previously provided to Meubles RD. We strive to handle all requests for rectification of personal information promptly.
d) Your Right to Erasure
You may ask us to delete or remove your personal information in certain circumstances, for example, when we no longer need your information for the purposes for which it was collected, or if you withdraw your consent (where applicable given that your consent forms the legal basis for our processing of your personal information). If you are entitled to erasure of your personal information and if we have communicated it to third parties, we will take reasonable steps to inform them as much as possible and if this does not involve a disproportionate effort. If you ask us, where possible and legal, we will also inform you of the identity of the third parties with whom we have shared your personal information so that you can contact them directly. In cases where we are required to delete your personal information, we will provide you with a written confirmation of the removal.
e) Your Right to Withdraw Consent
If we rely on your implicit or explicit consent as the legal basis for processing your personal information, you have the right to withdraw it at any time for our processing of your personal information. However, this withdrawal will not affect the legality of processing carried out before you withdrew your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide you with certain services, such as those mentioned in section 4 above. If this is the case, we will inform you at the time you withdraw your consent.
